Privacy Policy

QuickTick is built to know as little about you as possible. This policy explains what little we collect, why, and what we never do.

The QuickTick app

• Your tasks stay on your Mac. QuickTick stores your tasks and settings locally on your device. We have no servers that receive, store, or read your task data.
• No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The app does not require an account and contains no analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.
• Apple Reminders sync is optional and local. If you enable it, QuickTick reads and writes reminders through Apple's frameworks on your device. That data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; it never passes through us.
• License activation is offline. Your license key is verified on your Mac and stored in the macOS Keychain. The app does not contact our servers to activate or validate it.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects the information needed to process your payment (such as your name, email address, billing address, and payment details) under Paddle's privacy policy. We never see or store your payment card details.

After a purchase, Paddle shares your name, email address, and transaction details with us so we can generate your license key and email it to you. We keep this purchase record so we can re-send lost keys, handle refunds, and meet tax and accounting obligations.

Email

We use your email address to deliver your license key and to respond when you contact us. License emails are sent through Resend, our email delivery provider. We don't send marketing email, and we never sell or share your personal information with anyone for advertising.

This website

quicktick.jolley.app is hosted on Vercel. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits in aggregate; it does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. Standard server logs (such as IP addresses) may be retained briefly by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

Data retention & your rights

We retain purchase and license records for as long as needed to support your license and to satisfy legal requirements. You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we're legally required to keep). Email hello@jolley.app and we'll take care of it.

Children

QuickTick is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this site.
